Project Six
A guided hour through the current hang, room by room
The walk-through starts at the door and moves slowly. We keep the group small on purpose, because the point is not to cover the whole show but to stop in front of a handful of plates and stay there long enough to notice how the ink sits on the paper or where the light falls across a fence line. Most weeks we spend the first twenty minutes in one room and never rush the rest.
The route follows the same order as the online gallery, so if a work stays with you afterwards you can find it again at home and look at the details a second time. Bring a question about a specific print and we will try to answer it on the spot.
A short list of names per hour. That is what makes it possible to stand in front of one photograph and talk about how it was made without the room filling up behind you.
We walk the rooms in the sequence the online gallery uses, so a plate you liked on the wall is easy to find again later, with the maker note and the year beside it.
If you would rather meet one of the resident artists, that is a separate arrangement. Ask during the walk or send a note beforehand and we will set it up on its own.
We would like to remember your choice about how the gallery behaves on this device. Your selection is stored only in this browser and is used to keep the browsing experience consistent on your next visit. You can read more in our privacy policy.
